About the Job Role:
General Practitioner is a medical doctor who diagnose, treat and prevent illnesses, diseases, injuries, and other physical and mental impairments in humans through the application of modern medicine.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat a variety of illnesses and conditions
- Provide health education and preventive health care advice to patients
- Perform minor surgeries and procedures as needed
- Document and maintain patient medical records
- Order, perform and interpret laboratory tests and X-rays
General Practitioner Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience in a clinical setting
- Specialized training in family medicine, pediatrics, or internal medicine
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in electronic health record systems
- Ability to work in high-stress environments
- Previous experience in community health settings
