About Job Responsibilities
Prepare, assemble, and wrap instrument trays and surgical sets for different procedures.
Collect, clean, disinfect, and sterilize surgical instruments, medical devices, and equipment according to hospital protocols.
Operate sterilization equipment such as autoclaves, ultrasonic cleaners, and washer-disinfectors.
Ensure proper storage and distribution of sterile supplies to operating rooms and hospital departments.
Adhere to infection control guidelines and maintain a safe, sterile working environment.
Report equipment malfunctions or missing instruments to the supervisor promptly.
Assist in training junior staff or new team members on sterilization practices and protocols.
