Job Responsibilities:
✔️ Receive, sort, and decontaminate used surgical instruments and medical equipment.
✔️ Use ultrasonic cleaners, washers, and disinfectants as per protocols.
✔️ Operate autoclaves (steam, plasma, or gas) to sterilize instruments and surgical trays.
✔️ Ensure correct packaging and labeling before sterilization.
✔️ Inspect instruments for damage or malfunction and report issues.
✔️ Assemble instrument sets accurately according to surgical procedure requirements.
✔️ Maintain records of instruments and equipment sterilized.
✔️ Monitor stock levels of sterile supplies and report shortages.
