Job Description

We required urgently ICU Staff Nurses for AlMana Hospital, Saudi Arabia

Role and Responsibilities:

  1. Patient Care: Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various healthcare settings such as hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, and community health centers. This includes assessing patient needs, developing care plans, administering medications, and monitoring patient conditions.
  2. Clinical Procedures: Perform a range of clinical procedures, including taking vital signs, dressing wounds, administering injections, inserting intravenous lines, and assisting with diagnostic tests and procedures.
  3. Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about their medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care techniques. Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families throughout their healthcare journey.
  4. Documentation and Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, including nursing assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medication administration records. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and documentation standards.
  5. Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, including physicians, therapists, social workers, and other nurses, to provide coordinated patient care. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure continuity of care and optimal patient outcomes.
  6. Safety and Infection Control: Adhere to established safety protocols and infection control practices to prevent the spread of infections and ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Monitor for signs of infection and implement appropriate measures to prevent complications.
  7. Emergency Response: Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies, including cardiac arrests, respiratory distress, and trauma situations. Administer emergency treatments and interventions as per protocols and guidelines.
  8. Quality Improvement: Participate in quality improvement initiatives and performance improvement activities to enhance the quality and safety of patient care. Identify areas for improvement and implement evidence-based practices to achieve better outcomes.
  9. Professional Development: Stay updated on current nursing practices, guidelines, and technologies through continuing education and professional development activities. Pursue opportunities for further specialization or certification in areas of interest.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or Associate degree in Nursing from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid nursing license or registration from the appropriate regulatory body.
  • Clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in medical-surgical, critical care, or specialty areas.
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, standards, and best practices.
